Turko- former Mayor of Daet was a hero , He was Vinzons allied during World War II US Japanese War. Governor Wenceslao Q. Vinzons was captured by the Japanese and never can be found his body up to these days, an old man told me Vinzons with others are buried so deep at the area of Bagasbas Airport by the Japanese Soldiers. Bagasbas the now Airport for SEAIR Philippine airlines flights.
The Boayes St. was named after Francisco Turko Boayes , he died of old age.. Formerly called Marquez de Camarines or M. d.
